There is currently a foliage project being run by Cal Poly students that is selling indoor and tropical plants out of Poly Plant Shop. The EHS club is responsible for the foliage project but I am trying to boost some sales for the project. With Christmas on its way I wanted to see if you could run an article promoting the project. Brian Adkins is the main student in charge of the project and wants to offer students and faculty a 30% discount.
Please let me know if you are interested in writing an article on the foliage project and I can set up an Interview with Brian Adkins.
    Thank you,
    Daniela

A lot of clubs that the campus deems as \"high risk\" are being moved off campus for insurance and liability purposes. I\’ve been told that the club I am involved in (Penguins Motorcycle Club) is one of 16 that are being forced to do this. This is something that came as a pretty big surprise to our club and it\’s a shame that Cal Poly is removing their affiliation with clubs out of fear of lawsuits. Either way I think it could make a good story

  3. The Kennedy Library has been selected as “test drive” site for media:scape, a cool collaboration setup that allows multiple laptops to be viewed on two displays. It is located on the 2nd floor near the Learning Commons service desk – look for the lime green chairs! Check it out and tell us what you think.

media:scape will be at Cal Poly through January 24th.

Call or email is you have questions:

The Cal Poly Tractor Pull team just came back from the West Coast Nationals with a big win on February 9th and 10th. They won the 7200 lb modified tractor class earning them a nice trophy, jacket, and check. It would be great if an article could be done since Cal Poly is the only college with a pulling team. The team is run by students with 2 advisors that are teachers here on campus.
